A woman involved in an alleged altercation with police at the University Village Apartments was detained by officers on Friday, March 18, police said.

Police responded to a call at the B Building of the campus apartments and held one woman in custody after the she supposedly resisted arrest and battered an officer. The suspect was delivered to the Van Nuys precinct for booking.

At least three officers remained at the apartment complex following the suspect’s departure. A large pile of luggage and personal effects were left at the front door of the alleged site. Residents of the complex began moving the items to a car in a nearby parking lot shortly after police left the area.

CSUN police were not available for comment at the time of publication.
