Deon Tresvant, who’s been facing some problems of his own and hasn’t been able to play in over a month, also offered some comments on Josh Jenkins’ automobile accident:
“When I heard, I was devastated. I was shocked. It was like one of my brothers was hurt. I felt bad. It was definitely devastating. I couldn’t believe it.”
(On how this affects the team’s play) “It makes me feel just … I wish I could be useful to the team. What I’ve been going through and now this … Hopefully the team can be strong enough and jell together. They just got to keep us going until one us gets back.”
(On whether he believes he’ll be able to come back this season) “Yeah. Yeah. I got hope.”
