A bunch of little ladies (seven-year-olds i would guess) have come into The Matadome marching and wearing purple cheerleading outfits. They’ve sat right in front of the Matadors’ end of the court, hoping to encourage these big men to take control of the game (CSUN’s trailing 14-12).
The official cheerleaders are behind the basket. Hopefully they’ll have a cheer-off at halftime.
And the little cheerleaders’ cheers pay off! CSUN ahead 16-14. The big cheerleaders call timeout.
They’re going to bribe the public with some bracelets or something.
Seriously now, CSUN up by two with 11:43 to play in the first half.
