Senate members of A.S. provided the additional questions and concerns of their constituents Tuesday to be addressed before CSUN President Jolene Koester at the second Presidents’ Town Hall Meeting.

A.S. President Conor Lansdale said he wanted to know about campus-wide issues affecting students, so that he could go over them with Koester.

“The first town hall meeting was a success,” Lansdale said.

Amanda Flavin, senator of business and economics I, said many of her constituents are concerned about getting more classes for the winter session and the Upper-Division Writing Proficiency Exam.

She added students wanted to know if there was an update about having more available dates to take the exam.

Ryan Melander, senator of arts, media and communication I, said in addition to concerns about comprehensive exams, some students are concerned about the possibility of cutting spending for computer labs and software.

Lansdale said the next Presidents’ Town Hall Meeting would be held on Nov. 16 where Koester, Lansdale and Faculty President Steven Stepaneck will continue to hear concerns from students who did not get the opportunity to attend the first town hall meeting last week.
