“Bones” is back for season seven and if you haven’t tuned in yet, there is no time like the present. The show revolves around the Jeffersonian Forensic and Science lab where, top forensic anthropologist, Temperance Brenan (nicknamed Bones) works with her team to examine possible murder victims. Paired with leading man, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, Bones goes to crime scenes to investigate murder weapons and deal with the sexual tension constantly arising with Booth. Season six ended with Bones telling Booth she is pregnant with his baby.

Whitney Cummings throws reality in your face with her new show “Whitney.” Along with costar Chris D’Ella, playing boyfriend Alex, Whitney takes the viewer on a ride through the good and the bad of relationships. Whitney’s cynical attitude towards marriage and life gives this comedy less of a slapstick outcome and more of a ‘that would so happen to me’ effect. Whitney and Alex’s unconventional look at relationships proves that you don’t have to be what the world expects of you to be happy. Watch as the happily unmarried couple bicker over wedding attire and how much sex they should be having.

Mad Men has opened up the market for shows based in the 1960’s and “Pan Am” is the one to keep your eyes out for. The show is wrapped around the glamour of being a stewardess for Pan Am in 1963. Women on the show have perfectly quaffed hair and wrinkle-free flawlessly fitted blue suits. Watch the superstars of the sky fly to foreign countries and get lost in love and fascination for their newfound respect in a time when women were merely seen as housewives.

Maria Bello has been starring in television and movies since ’92 and is back for another round in “Prime Suspect.” The typical – strong woman gets torn down in a man’s world story is brought back to life with a twist. This time, Bello’s character, Jane doesn’t take crap from anyone. She defies the ‘boy’s club’ whenever possible – or impossible – and proves she can do her job, and she can do it better, time after time. Based on the British series of the same name, this show is brought with extra drama from the producers of “Desperate Housewives” and “Friday Night Lights.”

Tim Allen is back on ABC with his new comedy, “Last Man Standing.” This very typical, dumb husband versus woman run family, brings Allen back to almost the same role he played on “Home Improvement” from ’91-’99. His quirky, clueless dad personality tries and fails to be the new ‘house mom’ while his newly promoted wife tries to concur the male-dominated work place.
