Student suffers seizure on campus

Paramedics responded to a student who reportedly suffered a seizure in a classroom inside Sierra Hall.  The incident occurred around 2 p.m. Thursday.

Classmates reported a female student started shaking violently and fell face-first onto the classroom floor.

Witnesses at the scene reported the student was bleeding from her face.

Campus police and paramedics responded to the incident in room 341.

The student was conscious as she was taken out on a stretcher and placed in an ambulance, and was transferred to a hospital.

Class was canceled as a result of the incident.
