This world-renown book fair offers bibliophiles the chance to view rare books and manuscripts. Over 200 booksellers from 33 different countries will be present, so readers, be ready.
Shakespeare lovers can taste a little bit of history. An event within the Antiquarian Book Fair, this panel discusses Shakespeare’s work on his 450th birthday. The event will feature Elizabethan cookbooks and information on the era’s food, followed by a discussion run by food critics, historians and chefs.

This 21 and up event features a lecture and four-course meal in the heart of the Los Angeles Zoo. The lecture discusses mating, dating and cohabitation patterns of different animals in the zoo. Attendees may walk through different exhibits while enjoying wine and chatting with zoo keepers. Proceeds go to the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.
Experience the poetry of Pablo Neruda in a new way. Accompanied by guitarist Gerardo Morales, Neruda’s poetry will be read to audiences in both English and Spanish to encompass the poet’s original language and tone.
