Welcome to the relaunch of Josh and Trevor’s podcast now titled, “Culture Clash.” When we first launched the show at the start of the Spring 2014 semester, we set out to create a bi-weekly podcast geared towards video game news and reviews. After two months of consistent shows, we branched out into movie coverage with a discussion of the recently announced cast of “Star Wars: Episode 7.” We’ve decided to change our podcast to include all things film, television as well as video games, of course. It’s our hope to bring the CSUN community an entertaining show that highlights mainstream and indie titles gracing these three mediums.

During summer break, we will have an inconsistent schedule, but we will nail down a firm release schedule when the Fall semester rolls around. For now, enjoy our first episode where we discuss a few indie games worth checking out, including a few critiques of a couple films that may be worth watching. Also be warned, we jump into  some major spoilers for the latest episode of “Game of Thrones,” which we saved for the end of the podcast.

You can download the episode directly from Soundcloud, or head over to iTunes (  to subscribe to all of the Daily Sundial’s podcasts.
