CSUN and UCSB played one of the best games in the Big West Conference last season at Santa Barbara. The Matadors came up on top with a come-from-behind 88-84 win. Deon Tresvant was the star that night. He scored 31 points.

Needless to say. The Matadors need a new hero tonight. Although I’m pretty sure they’d love to avoid any dramatic finishes and just get out of here with a ‘W.’

Twenty more minutes till tip-off and the Matadors are strectching.

The Thunderdome crowd is pretty loud already (as their players hit the floor) and they’re not even al here. I’d say only about a tenth of the arena’s capacity’s been filled so far.
