Crime Blotter for the Week of Sept. 21 through 25

Monday, Sept. 21:

An unknown suspect left graffiti on the men’s restroom wall at the Department of Police Services. According to the crime log archive, the incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. and is still under investigation.

A CSUN officer arrested a driver for driving without a license in the B3 parking structure around 12:40 p.m.. According to the crime log archive, the suspect was released at the scene with a notice to appear.

Two people were referred for disciplinary action on Monday after violating campus drug laws.

The first incident occurred in the G9 parking structure around 9:10 p.m., according to the crime log archive. The second incident occurred around unit 21 of the University Park Apartments around 12:20 a.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 22:

A cell phone was taken by an unknown thief after the phone fell out of a girls pocket. According to the crime log archive, the theft occurred near Prairie and Etiwanda around 10:30 a.m. The incident is still under investigation.

Wednesday, Sept. 23:

A man was using a power outlet in parking structure B5 to charge his vehicle around 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday. The man was advised he must use a designated charging station.

Thursday, Sept. 24:

Three car burglaries in parking structure G3 were captured on the CCTV system on Thursday, according to the crime log archive.

The first incident occurred between the hours of 4:15 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. when two suspects broke into a locked car and stole an iPad mini and two backpacks.

The second incident occurred between 4:15 p.m. and 6:25 p.m.. The suspects again broke into a car and stole the radio and a textbook. The car was partially locked but the victim says that one door does not lock, according to the crime log archive.

Nothing was stolen during the third burglary, but the car had been looked through. The incident occurred between 4:15 p.m. and 7:47 p.m., according to the crime log archive.

An unknown suspect used white paint to graffiti a sign at the north end of the G4 parking lot, according to the crime log archive. The incident occurred at unknown hours and is still under investigation.
