The game is almost over. The mark of Thanksgiving brings about the inevitable end of the semester. The Sundial will take a mini-break over the week to fill our stomach with delicious food, but it won’t stop us from providing quality playlists. Check this week’s Songs of the Week, and be sure to tune into the upcoming playlists for stormy weathers and a good, hearty meal on Thanksgiving.

Game Over

Cool Uncle ft. Mayer Hawthorne

What a cool and funky track. Mayer Hawthorne comes on the track along with the classics of Bobby Caldwell and Jack Splash and right off the bat, the song exudes swag and a powerful punch with a sick drum beat.

Winter Beat

Michael Nau

This song is old school sounding and relaxing. Michael Nau’s “Winter Beat” is a track off his new record “Mowing.”

Atlas Genius

Atlas Genius is known for its super-hit “Trojans” and listeners and fans alike can already tell these guys have a great sense of synthesizers and the traditional rock sound. But with a cover of the Weeknd’s “The Hills,” the band is pushing forth a possibly newer sound, and it’s pretty interesting.
