The Matadors just can't seem to find the back of the net. Northridge was defeated by the UC Riverside Highlanders 1-0 Thursday afternoon at Matador Field. It marked the third straight game that the Matadors were held scoreless in a contest.

Avesyan claims Big West Player of the Week

Matador freshman Nancy Avesyan was named the Big West Conference Co-Player of the Week Monday after scoring game-winning goals in both of Northridge's wins this past weekend. She is the first Matador to win the honor since the 2005 season.
