Ivan Yeo August 22, 2007
Following a bounce-back season in 2006, the CSUN Matador women's volleyball team enters the 2007 season hoping its continued development results in a trip back to the postseason. After a dismal 2005 season that saw CSUN fall to the 20-loss plateau for the first time in a decade, a Matador team that consisted mostly of freshmen that year looked to yield better results the following year, and did just that, going from 4-23 in 2005 to 16-12 the following year, including a 7-7 mark in conference play, which tied with UC Irvine for fifth in the Big West.

Parking without a pass

Erin Resnick August 22, 2007
You just finished buying an art history book from the bookstore for $129, and since you're paying your own way through school, you're not the most excited student right now. You might ask what type of sticker costs $144, and who would buy such a sticker? The majority of the students who attend CSUN pay $144 for a sticker.

Meredith Sweet August 22, 2007
Students exploring the campus today may be surprised to discover several changes to the Matador Bookstore Complex, the biggest change being the three new restaurants occupying what was once known as the Stations Food Court. Replacing the pizza, Chinese, Mexican and sushi vendors that previously occupied the space, along with smoothie chain Jamba Juice, are three well-known chains: Panda Express, with Chinese food; El Pollo Loco, with Mexican-style dishes; and Juice It Up!, a juice and smoothie company that originated on the beaches of Southern California.

Dennis Mahan August 22, 2007
Move-in day came once again for CSUN's dorm residents Tuesday, as many nervous and excited students, along with their parents and friends, carried boxes, television sets, radios and other student necessities up staircases.
