The third CicLAvia event in downtown Los Angeles will take place on Sunday, Oct. 9, where people can roam the streets without any fear of automobiles in their way. California Faculty Association to hold strikes after failing to reach agreement with CSU over salary raises

Faculty members at two CSU campuses will hold day-long concerted actions after failing to come to an agreement with the CSU over salary raises. The Big West Conference opener resulted in a big win for the Matadors (4-4-1) as they powered through UC Davis, 3-0, Wednesday afternoon at Aggie Soccer Field. President Koester supports second part of Dream Act

CSUN President Jolene Koester announced CSUN’s support of the second part of California’s Dream Act, or AB 131, and encouraged Gov. Jerry Brown to sign the bill, Friday.
