Thousands of costumed attendees filled the streets of West Hollywood on Saturday, Oct. 31, for the city’s annual Halloween Carnaval, turning Santa Monica Boulevard into a Halloween spirited celebration. Despite the wet, rainy night, attendees danced up and down the mile-long stretch between North Doheny Drive and North La Cienega Boulevard.
Since 1987, the event has grown into one of the largest Halloween celebrations in the area, featuring live entertainment, food trucks and other festivities. From original characters to pop culture references, this year’s Carnaval expressed the creativity within the annual tradition of a West Hollywood staple.
