Now that we are full throttle into Spring semester, making time for the extra stuff seems more and more difficult. But an hour every couple of weeks to boost your environment awareness isn’t so bad right? A great way to get involved with CSUN’s green efforts when you have a tight schedule is to come to the Webinars put on by the Institute of Sustainability.
The Webinars are actually part of a national university network that’s organized by the National Wildlife Federation called Greener Campus Conference Series. People tune in from all over the country, either on their personal computers or in group settings like at CSUN. Each webinar is only an hour and features three to four speakers with a question and answer section at the end. It’s an easy and free way to get connected on a national level. Even if you miss a webinar when it’s live, you can always access the archives on the National Wildlife Federation web site under the event section.
