For fans of anything horror, this is the week “Evil Dead” is here. For anyone wanting to see the midnight showing, Regency theaters in Westwood Village is the place.

Local movie critic Jason Coleman is helping put together the “Evil Dead Festival” for all hardcore fans. The event will show “Evil Dead” one and two in 35mm, “Army of Darkness” and finally the new “Evil Dead.” ┬áSpecial guests will include actresses from the original film, Greg Nicotero (“Walking Dead”) for a Q&A, and more.

The first film will start at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are priced $28 for general and $23 for student, and anyone who can’t afford the entire thing can purchase tickets for individual films.

Take the opportunity and come find out if the newest film will be a flop, sequel, prequel, redo or total success at this rare event.
