CSU votes to increase student fees by 8 percent

LONG BEACH – The California State University Board of Trustees convened Oct. 27 and voted again to increase student fees as university presidents and CSU executives received 13.6 percent pay raises for the next academic year. Two men pose as students to sell off-campus event tickets

During the first week of the semester, two individuals allegedly posing as students interrupted classes to sell tickets to off-campus events, according to professors in the Marketing and Sociology departments. He said professor Donald Robertson was teaching his Ethnic Diversity in America course in the Sociology Department on Aug. 30 when two males entered his class. A.S. President: October election results a ‘mockery’

The Fall 2005 Associated Students election, held Oct. 25 and 26, was the center of discussion at the organization’s senate meeting on Nov. 1 as members discussed low voter turnout. Although the total count of voters in the election has not been officially established yet, the number was about 600 students, according to A.S. CSUN community affected by Katrina’s wrath

Students baffled by missing online-class professor

Students from two Pan-African studies and two urban studies and planning online classes were left confused and without a professor when she stopped communicating with them after the fifth week of classes, according to the students and school officials.
