Evan Emory went to a local elementary school, performed kids songs for a group of children and video taped it. After the class was dismissed, he stuck around and sang sexually explicit songs, which he later edited into the video to replace the children’s songs. He… Read more

Is a live sex demonstration in a university lecture appropriate for students?

A Northwestern University professor staged a live sex demonstration as part of a lecture in a human sexuality class last month. In front of more than 100 students, a woman stripped down naked, laid down on a towel and then her fiancé used a machine-powered dildo to bring her to climax.  Following the demonstration, the professor led a discussion on sex fetishes and the female orgasm. Professor J. Michael Bailey told the students several times they were not required to… Read more

Letter to the Editor

Lucia Strojnik is a 21-year-old senior in communications. As a nature enthusiast and environmental activist, I disagree with the author’s claims that these trees need to be removed. Trees are considered to be one of the foundations of life. Not only do they intake carbon dioxide and chemically process it to create oxygen, but they offer shade to students who want to experience their beauty.
