- An unknown suspect stole a pack of batteries from an office in Jerome Richfield.
- An unknown suspect stole a ceramic figurine from an office in Manzanita Hall.
- An unknown suspect collided into the victim’s parked car in the F9 parking lot. The suspect fled the scene without reporting the accident.
Tuesday, Feb. 9
- Between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:10 p.m., an unknown suspect collided into a vehicle parked in the F10 parking lot. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
- The unknown suspect gained entry into a parked vehicle in the B5 parking structure by unknown means between 9:15 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., and stole a CSUN parking permit.
- An unknown suspect stole a bicycle by cutting the padlock securing it to the bike rack outside the University Park Apartments between the hours of 5 p.m. and 12:10 p.m. the following day.
Wednesday, Feb. 10
- Two residents of the University Park Apartments were referred for a drug-law violation.
- A suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation for trick-riding a skateboard outside of Manzanita Hall upon acknowleding that it was unlawful to do so on CSUN property.
- Unknown suspects were observed on the campus CCTV system stealing a parking services immobilization car tire boot from an immobilized vehicle from the G3 parking lot.
- A known suspect stole a math book’s online access codes for personal use around 1:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 11
- The unknown suspect was observed on the campus CCTV system around 1 a.m. writing random statements in chalk on the south sidewalk of the Oviatt Library.
Friday, Feb. 12
- Officers made a traffic stop around Nordhoff and Reseda for an expired registration. Officers then found the driver was driving unlicensed. The suspect was then cited and released at the scene.
- Two residents of the University Park Apartments were referred for a drug-law violation.
- An unknown suspect stole a bicycle outside Nordhoff Hall. The bicycle was locked to a bike rack with a padlock and cable.
Saturday, Feb. 13
- Officers responded to a suspicious person call at the University Park Apartments. When they confronted the man, they found that he had an active parole violation warrant.
- A victim reported damage to his car, which was parked in the E5 parking lot. The car’s windshield had a small crack on it. The campus CCTV system video was checked and no suspicious activity was observed around the victim’s vehicle.
- Officers stopped the suspect for reckless driving around the University Park Apartments, then later found the suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol with his 6-year-old child in the car. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys jail, and the child was released to the grandmother.
Sunday, Feb. 14
- Two residents of the University Park Apartments were referred for a drug-law violation.
- A victim’s ex-boyfriend became angry during a conversation and began punching, slapping and spitting on her before he left the University Park Apartments. According to the log, officers are continuing their investigation.
