Unemployed CSUN students could find the cure to their joblessness at the new Northridge Chick-fil-A restaurant opening Nov. 10.
Chick-fil-A, which specializes in chicken sandwiches, is accepting applications for 80 positions at their new location at 8875 Tampa Ave., said Mandy Coward, owner and operator of the Northridge location.
The new location is looking for part-time and full-time workers for all positions, including kitchen and counter operators, Coward said.
“We chose Northridge because we thought it would be a great opportunity to spread the message of Chick-fil-A,” said Coward. “There are no Chick-fil-A’s in the Valley.”
The first 100 customers at the new location’s grand opening will receive free Chick-fil-A for a year, Coward said.
Applicants may go to the Northridge location to fill out and application.
