Colaboratoria will showcase new dance pieces performed and created by CSUN students and faculty.
“Some of our dancers have appeared on ‘So You Think You Can Dance?’ and ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’ and are actively working in commercials,” Thomson said. “But some of our dancers have a passion to dance have not had the same opportunities.”
The performances will include professional classical Indian dancing, flamenco, tap, contemporary, hip hop and more, Thomson said.
“The show will have a completely entertaining variety,” Thomson said. “It’s doubtful the audience will be bored.”
Colaboratoria will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for students and seniors and $20 for adults.
