LAPD’s Devonshire Division responded to a 911 call reporting a woman’s body found on a sidewalk in Granada Hills Wednesday afternoon.
The woman’s body was discovered outside around 5:30 p.m. by a Granada Hills home near the corner of Devonshire Street and Encino Avenue, Sgt. Jeff Stahl told City News Service.
An autopsy was pending Thursday to determine the cause of death and will be performed within the next 24-48 hours said investigator Ryan Hays at the county coroner’s office.
Hays said no next of kin has been reached to identify the woman, who may have been in her mid-30s. No further details were available as of Thursday afternoon.
