The primary suspect in the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 10-year-old Northridge girl is being charged with 37 different felonies.
Tobias Dustin Summers, a 32-year-old man who is said to be the prime suspect in the case, is charged with 34 sex-related crimes, first-degree burglary and kidnapping, according to City News Service.
Summers is suspected in taking a 10-year-old girl from her home in the middle of the night March 27. She was taken to multiple locations in different vehicles before being found wandering in a parking lot six miles from her home.
Summers is said to have a tattoo on his right arm of a woman and a burning skull. He is about 160 pounds with short blond hair and blue eyes. LAPD reported Summers is believed to have last been seen in San Diego.
If Summers is caught and convicted, he faces multiple life terms in prison.
A 29-year-old West Hills resident, Daniel Martinez, who was arrested as a second suspect in the kidnapping, pleaded not guilty in San Fernando Valley court Wednesday and could face up to 12 years in state prison.
Martinez was arrested Sunday and is being charged with kidnapping and first-degree burglary.
