CSULA evacuated for bomb threat

BREAKING: California State University Los Angeles was evacuated Thursday as a precaution, according to the university’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

“The campus is being evacuated due to an emergency. We don’t have additional information at the time,” the Twitter post stated.

LAPD spokesman Christopher No told KPCC that someone phoned in a bomb threat. He said the bomb squad would go through the campus as a precaution.

“The CSULA campus is closed as of noon, April 18, as a precaution. Those on campus should evacuate immediately,” the school’s Facebook page stated.
