A longtime home for rockaholics in the summer time, Warped Tour hosts every band you loved in high school, and their new emo-pop/rock/hardcore/indie/punk/hip-hop/metal descendants. The nationwide tour kicks off in LA, and then returns to the west coast for a couple of days in June, starting in Pomona. Bands are being added to the tour list almost daily, but it already hosts names like Of Mice and Men, Yellowcard, The Maine, Mayday Parade, We the Kings and Bowling for Soup.
The politically-minded now have the right to rock and vote, at this politics driven festival. The lineup will be featuring artists that were originally known for their fight the power vibes, such as Public Enemy, Immortal Technique and even the founders of Wu-Tang Clan Cappadonna, U-God, and Masta Killa. Besides tunes, guests can also attend panels on issues ranging from the NSA wiretapping, racism and the war on drugs.

For winos willing to take a road trip to NorCal, a diverse lineup of bands and food awaits them. Ranging from The Cure, The Fray, OutKast, Sublime with Rome, LL Cool J and Weezer, music lovers can find anything to suit their tastes.
Don’t cry over EDC selling out, ravers. Electronica-lovers can still have their crazy night filled with beats and lights, thanks to Hard Summer, LA’s own EDM-festival. The festival, which hosted over 70,000 guests last summer, has relocated to an even bigger venue to accommodate an expected increase in attendance. While a lineup has not been formally announced as of yet, early-bird tickets are already going fast!

This weekend long extravaganza boasts a “sacred, sexy, saucy and silly” atmosphere for all in attendance at their new, bigger venue in Mendocino County. Artisans and yogis will be on tap when you get tired of dancing.

Another mecca for hippies, Lightning in a Bottle boasts an impressive lineup of temple music to calm the mind, main stage to music to party, and yoga stars to help stretch you out after a night of dancing. Besides music, guests can enjoy hands-on workshops, a temple for clearing the mind, and art galleries.
