It was slipping away for the CSUN Matador men's volleyball team. In game one of its Mountain-Pacific Sports Federation playoff matchup with the USC Trojans on Feb. 18 at the Matadome, the Trojans just ripped off seven straight points and eight of nine sets overall to take a seemingly insurmountable 24-13 lead.

The Governors of the United States Postal Service recently approved most of a plan for rate hikes set out for it by the Postal Regulatory Commission, the body that oversees the postal service. Included among the rate hikes that were approved are an increase of the cost of a stamp to 41 cents and a new pricing structure based on the shape of the package.

After a moment of silence was observed by all members of the Associated Students Senate and gallery for the victims in the Virginia Tech shooting, excess enrollment funds was the first item up for discussion in the Senate meeting on Tuesday, as it increased the coffers of Unallocated Reserves by $89,244.
