Forward Kenny Daniels lives with Jenkins. These were his statements:

“I was really shocked. Josh is my roommate. He’s like a brother to me.” 

“We’re real close. We’re like brothers. We’re like blood-brothers. He looks out for me, I look out for him.”

“I dont know too much about the circumstances of the accident other than Josh is with his family.”

“I went to see him last night. He was stable, but he talked to us a little bit like … (he was in pain). He said he’s alright, but he looked pretty bad.”

“He had bruises on his arms, but I think, on the inside (physically), he was hurting.”
