ESPN Bracketbuster game decision and reaction

So the Matadors will have to travel to the state of the potato, Idaho, for their non-conference ESPN Bracketbuster game against the Vandals on Feb. 21. Idaho (10-11, 4-4 WAC) is led by guard Mac Hopson, who’s averaging 17 points and six assists per game. He is also a 49-percent three-point shooter.

When approached about the 835-mile flight up north right in the midst of the Big West Conference season, Head Coach Bobby Braswell found a way to share a bit of humor.

“I’m not going,” he said. “The team is going.”

Humor, right?

The game is set to start at 7 p.m.
