CSUN is going green with the new Chaparral Hall.

It has many new environmentally friendly features from the way it was designed.

Chaparral Hall uses fluorescent lights in all the rooms as well as energy saving light controls to help reduce the amount of energy the building consumes.

The light controls include multi-level lighting levels and occupancy sensors to automatically lower lighting levels.

The building was also made with energy saving heating, ventilation and air conditioning. The new energy efficient Chaparral Hall helps show CSUN’s commitment to the environment by using many new technologies.
