The upcoming Big Show 11 will feature performing artists B.o.B, The Cataracs and Dev on Oct. 1 in front of the Oviatt Library. Poetry Slam team to hold auditions and open mic
CSUN’s regional champion Poetry Slam team, will be hosting auditions and an open mic, in the Games Room, under the fitness center, Wednesday, 8-10 p.m. “There will be comedians, singing, dancing, rapping, a lot of poetry and anything else creative the students can think of,” said Samantha Liu, who runs the poetry team. CSU faculty salary remains at 2007 levels
Faculty at University of California campuses will receive a raise in October, but CSU faculty are still at 2007 compensation levels. While UC faculty receive a raise every three years, the 3 percent raise for CSU faculty, approved in 2008, was halted by budget cuts. Local hero remembers 9/11 experience
Hollyn Bullock was jogging on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, when her friend called to deliver the news that over the next 36 hours would change her life. Graffiti lines the walls of the Pasadena Museum of California Art (PMCA), but there are no signs of vandalism. Klotz Student Health Center offers online appointments
