Students, faculty and staff in Jerome Richfield Hall evacuated the building this morning after someone pulled the fire alarm.
The building was evacuated around 11 a.m. and more than 100 people waited outside for the building to be cleared for re-entry.
According to students outside Jerome Richfield Hall, they were required to leave the building because of a fire drill. Some students said it was because someone pulled the alarm.
The crowd had dispersed by 11:20 a.m. and class was resumed. Authorities and the fire department did not respond to the scene. Most of the students waiting to go back to class were crowded onto Matador Walk.
Jerome Richfield Hall is north of Sierra Walk and south of Bayramian Hall.
