CSUN senior Kristal Phillips, who has two goals and two assists this season, will not be available in Friday night’s game against Arizona State. She is forced to sit after receiving a red card in the Matador’s previous game. On the year Phillips has a total of five yellow cards and one red card…..in a total of six games.

Also to note, CSUN is ranked 10th in the NSCAA West Region rankings, with their 5-1 overall record. UNLV is ranked 8th (6-1-1) in the west region, and their only loss was to the Matadors. Now I know there is a lot more taken into consideration than just wins and losses but that still doesn’t look right to me. But what can you do but keep playing hard.
