Anyone interested in attending the rally for senators Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., in the University Student Union’s (USU) Grand Salon need to RSVP by tonight or they won’t be admitted.
“We’re expecting a full house, around 290 to 300 people, and the Fire Marshall asked us to keep it at or under maximum capacity,” said Nareg Babaians, vice president-elect of the Young Democrats.
For crowd control and security, CSUN police will be present and they may have barricades to identify where people can congregate for the event and to keep paths open for businesses and services located in the USU.
CSUN’s Department of Police Services do not expect the event to affect traffic around campus and Northridge.
The event begins at 1 p.m. and there will be designated parking in the G4 structure. Visitors can purchase a parking pass for $6 at campus information booths or in dispensers on the lot.
