The Valley Performing Arts Center presents the comedy “Servant of Two Masters.” This show is directed by Shad Willingham. This play was originally written in 1973 in Italian by Carlo Goldoni. The play has been adapted many times; the version that will be performed at the Valley Performing Arts Center’s Experimental Theatre is adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher and Paolo Emilio. It has been performed on broadway as “One Man, Two Guvnors.” Any play that involves lovers, servants, and twenty-seven plates of meatballs is sure to entertain.
There are tickets remaining for March 14, 15, and 16. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with a Sunday showing at 2pm. On Wednesday March 12 there will be a post show Q&A. The show is faculty-directed and student-performed. Sold out dates are March 12 and 13.
The price of tickets are $20 for general public, $17 for seniors, $16 for employees, and $15 for students. There is also a student three pack deal, it will be $8 each if three titles are purchased.
