According to Tuesday’s print edition of the L.A. Times, freshman guard Dallas Rutherford’s attorney is preparing a guilty plea and seeking probation for his client.

“There is going to be a plea. He has cooperated with police and returned the merchandise and gave Best Buy an apology,” attorney Ronald Hedding said, according to the report.
