Take pride in your womanhood or join the celebration women this “Women’s History Month” with these stats on how women here at CSUN and in state and national government are being represented.

Women’s History Month first began in 1981 as “Women’s History Week” after congress authorized and requested the president to recognize the celebration. Later in 1988 the week long holiday was turned into the month long celebration that we have today after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project.
