Two to three acres are burning in Chatsworth. Matt Levesque, an inspector with the Los Angeles County Fire Department said no homes are threatened by the fire.

Both the L.A. county and city units are on scene. Levesque said the county fire department dispatched three helicopters and two Super Scoopers that are dropping water overhead. The fire was first reported at 1:51 p.m., Levesque said.

The fire is on light grass and laying down going the opposite direction of houses, Levesque said. He added that the second phase is knock down, which is when there are no visible flames.
