Grace Potter and the Nocturnals to perform at Pub
KCSN will be hosting Grace Potter and the Nocturnals in an acoustic set at the Pub on Wednesday at 8 p.m. On Friday, the radio station sold 20 pairs of tickets for this intimate show.
Grace Potter’s performance is one of what KCSN hopes to be many performances on campus at the Pub with new artists. Even though this show is sold-out, students can listen to an on-air live interview prior to the performance at 6 p.m.
“We want to bring really good talent to CSUN,” Karen Kearns, general manager for KCSN said.
For this event, students had to sign up by 10 p.m. last Friday to get tickets. Following a 45-minute set, KCSN is hoping to have a meet and greet for the students in attendance. The station also plans to record and air the performance at a later time.
Grace Potter contacted the station for this event.
“She listens to KCSN, and we’ve been playing a lot of her music, so she wanted to help us,” Kearns said.
Kearns recommends students listen to the station and check the website often for future events like this.
