TRENDS student organization held their 37th annual fashion show at the University Student Union Saturday. The show featured collections designed by graduating seniors in apparel design and merchandising. Designers on average featured six models and meticulously chose the hair, makeup and music for the reveal of their collection on the catwalk.

The USU filled up with family, friends, students, a panel of judges and fashion enthusiasts to witness the “A Designer’s Cut” themed show. First-place winner, Canter’s 2:47am collection by Julia Viadero, was inspired by the transgressive spirit and originality of underground nightclub and music scenes in Los Angeles. Second place was awarded to Shiyan Luo’s Night in the Enchanted Forest collection and third place to Kristine Vanoian’s Le Vent collection.
