CSUN is arguably one of the most diverse universities in the nation. Despite this, the university has been behind the curve when it comes to culturally themed housing.
Many universities such as Cal State LA, UCLA, and UC Berkeley have already implemented this in their housing communities. Many students at CSUN said that it would help to build a community and give students a place to feel safe and be themselves.
