Pancake lovers, listen up. Today is Free Pancake Day. The famous breakfast chain, The International House of Pancakes (IHOP), is giving away a free short stack of original buttermilk pancakes to customers from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on March 3.
The restaurant will give away one stack per customer, while it lasts. After dining, IHOP encourages customers to donate to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization, or other local charities. The goal is to raise $3.5 million this year, according to IHOP’s website.
Since 2006, IHOP has raised nearly $16 million in donations for community charities on pervious free flapjack day, according to the website.
Grab a group of friends and join the 10th annual National Pancake Day at IHOP. Line up early because there’s bound to be a line. Also, check out the nearest IHOP locations close to CSUN.
