Kids of all ages walked alongside their parents, guardians, or caregivers through 75 booths at CSUN’s Special Needs Resource Fair in the Northridge Center on Saturday, Oct. 17.
“People benefit from coming here, because they can see 75 service providers all in one place so it really saves a lot of time for parents of children with special needs,” Program Manager for CSUN’s Family Focus Resource Center, Victoria Berrey said. “They don’t always have a lot of time to go out and seek resources so its great if they can come here and get a lot of information.”
Before entering the event there was a photo booth where attendees could take pictures with Snow White, Popeye and Little Red Riding Hood. The characters walked around the event and offered kids candy.
Zooz Fitness group, Autism Movement Therapy and Ballet for All Kids performed on stage during the event.
