It would be nice if the alerts instruct students what to do in the event of an emergency.  Freshman students did not know whether an evacuation will take place or not or if classes would continue as scheduled.  Between the first and second alert there were 30 minutes of intense and anxious waiting.

It’s mid-term week at CSUN.  A bomb threat seems like a great idea for the student who hasn’t prepared for the test.

Why does a writer take credit for this article? She basically copied and pastes what was on the alert and takes a credit for the article.

Dunno.  The LA Times doesn’t do it in its L.A. Now section.  Sometimes the Sundial has a writer’s byline on something as basic as a poll question; other times its just a generic Daily Sundial byline.  Remember: Most of the Sundial staff are just getting their journalistic feet wet.
