Students looking for a night of laughter can enjoy a live performance by comedian Trevor Wallace at Big Comedy on March 25, held at CSUN’s Plaza del Sol Performance Hall and located in the University Student Union.
Wallace is scheduled to perform at 7:15 p.m. for a 45-minute stand-up set. Students attending the free event are encouraged to arrive between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to secure seats before the show starts.
Big Comedy is part of the entertainment program organized by the Associated Students to bring professional comedians to campus and give students a chance to relax during a busy point in the semester.
“The goal of the event is really to not only bring larger comedic talent, like presence, to the campus, but also to allow students to have an opportunity to de-stress and just enjoy something and hopefully forget about life and laugh for a little bit,” Associated Students Programs Manager James Forrester said.
Wallace is known for his viral stand-up comedy, which has earned millions of views on social media. Besides his online fame, he has toured nationwide, bringing his energetic style and humor to live audiences.
According to organizers, the performance hall seats about 480 people, and they hope to fill the venue. Tickets for the event are free and available to students, with standby tickets offered the night of the show if seats remain. Students can claim their ticket at the AS Ticket Office located in the USU.
