The Art 404 exhibition design class designed the exhibit Bareedina: Women of Oromia, based on their art history professor’s dissertation. Melissa Schwartz is a woman on a mission. University takes advantage of rebates to install urinals that conserve resources

Waterless urinals across campus are helping CSUN save millions of gallons of water a year. The water savings is approximately 40,000 gallons per year per urinal, said Lynn Wiegers, executive director of the Physical Plant Management (PPM). “This equates to 10,800,000 gallons of water saved annually,” he said. CSUN administrators say reporting unusual behavior in students may prevent campus violence

Over winter break a gun and explosive materials were found inside a student’s dorm on campus. After making threats to students and staff, David Everson, 22, deaf studies major, was placed in a mental health facility and then taken into police custody. CSUN students to vote on referendum and senate seats on Nov. 9, 10

A.S. will be holding elections Tuesday and Wednesday where students will have an opportunity to vote for senators as well as a referendum that would lower the GPA requirements for A.S. members. The referendum will lower the GPA from 2.5 to 2.0. In last year’s spring elections, students voted to raise the GPA requirement from 2.0 to 2.5.
