Are you interested in pursuing a career to serve and protect your community? The CSUN Career Center will be hosting on-campus hiring workshops for the Los Angeles Police Department.

There will be a session from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Students who wish to attend must RSVP on Sunlink by going to the “Events and Workshops” section and clicking on the “Workshops” tab.  The events are located in the Career Center in University Hall Room 105.

An LAPD entrance exam will also be given from noon to 2 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the same location. Students interested in taking the exam must RSVP through Sunlink, and also register through the LAPD website at www.joinlapd.com, prior to taking it.

“For the exam, students have to register online, and bring the print out of that application and a form of photo identification to the test,” said Odette Fullum, the Career Center’s On-Campus Interview Program coordinator. “Please arrive by 11:45 a.m. to check in, because there are limited spots and students won’t be able to enter the test once it starts.”
