We all know Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and the majority of couple’s will be making reservations at the local crowded restaurants. We have a list of the top three Groupon dates to try this Valentine’s Day weekend to fit into your college budget.
1. If you’re a super romantic and over 21 years old, take your date to the fancy Aldabella Winery in Westlake Village. The winery is open Friday through Sunday, but if you’d like to listen to free live music, head over on February 14, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Italian singer Elena Degl’Innocenti will be performing her latest music, while you and your date drink wine. Purchase the deal online for $25, which includes wine tasting for two and two additional glasses of wine. Reservations are not required. I.D. is required to receive the alcoholic beverage.
2. Plan a fun, creative and possibly messy night with your date by going to a painting class. Groupon offers multiple painting class deals, including Paint Nite ($50) and Paint Me Wine ($45), to name a few. Supplies are included, and reservations are required, so book quickly. Both classes allow for wine to be enjoyed by those over age 21 years old during the art session.
3. Gaze at beautiful homes and luxurious yachts in Newport Beach by reserving a spot on a cruise this Valentine’s Day weekend. Groupon is offering a 75-minute cruise for two in Newport Beach for $25, which also includes two drink tickets. Cruise Newport Beach cruises take place Friday February 6 through Sunday February 15. Newport Fun Charters is also offering 90-minute cruises Valentine’s Day weekend for $49 for two. The cruises take place Friday February 13 through Monday February 16. If your plans include drinks, you can be fancy and pay an extra $10 for bottomless champagne.
